February 3, 2020. Third edition of the Antonio Moreno Espejo award for economic journalism corresponding to 2019

"The award recalls the professional career of Antonio Moreno Espejo, Director of Authorization and Registration of the CNMV"

The delivery ceremony will take place on Monday, February 3, at the CNMV headquarters at 13:00 p.m. at the CNMV headquarters.

The award is endowed with 15.000 euros and will be delivered on February 3, 2020.

This award was created by the Board of the CNMV as a tribute and in memory of the person who was director of the Department of Authorizations and Registration of Entities of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) between 2002 and his premature death in January 2017.

The award aims to recognize journalistic works that have stood out for promoting the integrity and transparency of the stock market and protecting the interests of investors as well as for their contribution to financial education, values ​​that guide the actions of the CNMV and that it should promote and encourage. Works published or broadcast in any communication medium in Spanish or in any of the co-official languages ​​during 2019 may be awarded.

The members appointed to form part of the jury are: Ángel Benito, director of the CNMV, who will act as chairman; Pilar González de Frutos, president of Unespa; Javier Rodríguez Pellitero, Secretary General of the AEB; Altina Sebastián, professor of banking at the Complutense University of Madrid.
