Summary

The Foundation for Research on Law and Business (FIDE) created a Multidisciplinary Group of Experts reflection and debate on the ILO initiative on the future of work. This book synthesizes the conclusions of said Group of Experts and analyzes the global changes, profound, unavoidable, and of unusual speed, which affect employment and work in Spain. These changes derive from new technologies, the aging of the population and demography, migratory flows, the effects of climate change, globalization or new forms of organization of production from the irruption of digital platforms and the use of intensive use of global supply chains.

In this book have participated jurists, economists, sociologists, trade unionists, representatives of the Administration and company managers, of recognized prestige and relevance, coming from public universities and the most prestigious public and private institutions in the country. It is a book of great strategic importance for the future of work that we want in Spain, given the irreplaceable personal and social function of decent work as a source of labor rights and social protection, that is, of social citizenship rights.
