He began his professional career as a Labor Inspector (now on leave of absence) and has been Director of Human Resources at the Official Credit Institute and Development Counselor at the Spanish Embassy in London and has held international positions as Permanent Representative of Spain at the IMO and at the FIDAC and Director of CECA. He has been an associate professor of Labor Law at the Carlos III University of Madrid and completed postgraduate programs at the Instituto de Empresa and IESE. He advises multinational companies in Spain and coordinates labor advice in other countries or jurisdictions in employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements and/or company agreements, consultation periods in company restructuring. He is a mediator in labor disputes. He is currently co-director of the Forums of FIDE "Labor News" and "CSR and Law". He is Vice President of the Association of Labor Relations Directors (ADIRELAB) and member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Labor Lawyers (AIAL).
