
El Estate Planning Forum Fide wants to be the meeting and reference point for high-level professionals in this field in Spain, where they can freely discuss, comment, exchange opinions, experiences and ideas, and share different views on the Tax and legal issues of Estate Planning in Spain that affect people with significant wealth, which include tax issues such as personal income tax, corporate income tax, wealth tax, inheritance and gift tax, international issues and other taxes, verification actions by the AEAT, and legal issues that affect a significant heritage such as hereditary, civil and commercial issues, from a global perspective, and that contributes through the different sessions the news, current affairs, different visions and perspectives of the expert professionals in the matter of the Tax Administration, DGT, professionals of private companies and magistrates, all of them experts who deal with Estate Planning issues in their field.
It is aimed at high-level professionals in the field of law firms, family offices or similar, private banking, tax administration, DGT and magistrates who deal with Estate Planning issues.
The forum is run by Xavier Estella, Managing Partner of Avantia Tax and Legal Advice. Academic Advisor of Fide; Charles Ferrer, Partner of the Tax practice at the Madrid office of Cuatrecasas y Antonio Zurera, Partner of the Baker McKenzie Tax Department.

Carlos Ferrer
Lawyer, partner in the Tax practice at the Madrid office of Cuatrecasas. Graduated in Law from the University of Deusto, he has a Master's Degree in Tax Consulting from IE Business School in Madrid. He has studied Community Law at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He is a specialist in international taxation and an expert in advising on corporate acquisition and reorganization operations, private banking and structured financing, as well as in the structuring and analysis of financial products. Likewise, he is a regular speaker at various forums for the reorganization of large estates, as well as professor and co-director of the Master's in Private Banking at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University, in the Master's of Tax Law at the University of Navarra and of the BME Institute (Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets).
