Virtual Fide Cryptoactives - DLT

The space Fide Cryptoactives-DLT was born with the objective of designing, proposing and implementing national and international study programs, elaborating and developing research proposals, which can lead to quality publications or carry out reports on regulations in force or in process, all in relation to the field of crypto assets, tokenizations and distributed ledger technology.

How are the activities of the Cryptoactive Space - DLT of Fide?

In order to fulfill the purposes for which the Space has been created Fide Cryptoactives-DLT, a Committee has been formed made up of experts from the Public Administration, the Judiciary, consulting, the crypto sector, the financial services sector and academia, whose members will promote, organize and direct training activities, of research and analysis and debate on the regulation in relation to crypto assets, tokenizations and distributed ledger technology.

In summary:

  1. The design, development and supervision of different degrees of FIDE, in relation to the field of DLT technology and cryptoactives, which allow an ideal offer to start, deepen and update these matters, to professionals from different fields and sectors. This type of training will be multidisciplinary and should allow students to obtain knowledge of technological, legal and economic issues related to the applications of those technologies.
  2. The development of research tasks in relation to the field of knowledge of the subjects whose analysis has been entrusted to this Committee, being able to organize conferences, seminars, congresses, or promote the publication of reports, articles or collective works that may represent an advance in knowledge on these issues.
  3. Exchange regulatory experiences and knowledge with training, research, regulators and supervisors centers and with any institution that in the European and Latin American sphere develops knowledge in relation to distributed registry technology and crypto assets.
  4. Generate momentum in the Spanish state on the knowledge, debate and efficient and protective regulation of the market, investors and consumers, regarding the matters entrusted to the Committee, to promote responsible and efficient use of these technologies that, in addition to improving economic relations, favors Spain is a highly innovative country, generating an increase in wealth, employment and investment.

Francisco del Olmo Fons

Deputy Director responsible for Fintech and Cybersecurity of the CNMV since 2018, having previously assumed different responsibilities in the supervision and inspection departments in this institution. Among its current functions are the stimulation of innovation in the financial sector, the coordination of the innovation hub and the Sandbox, and the development and implementation of the new regulation on Fintech and technological risk management. Highlight his special involvement in initiatives in the field of Distributed Registry Technologies and crypto assets. By training, Francisco is a Computer Engineer from ICAI and a Master in Digital Evidence from UAM, he is a teacher in various educational programs and a member of various national and international work groups.

Isabela Delgado Ruiz-Gallardon

Commercial Technician and State Economist. He currently works in the Technical and Financial Analysis Office of the Public Treasury as head of the fintech area, handling all issues related to crypto assets, cybersecurity, digital euro, Sandbox, etc. Representative of Spain in the negotiations of the Council for the MiCA Regulation (Markets in Crypto-Assets). In addition to the fintech area, he works in the financial analysis area of ​​the Public Treasury and has actively participated in the public response to the Covid-19 crisis. Previously, he has worked on competition issues at the CNMC.

Jesus Heritage Anton

Director of Digital Assets and Blockchain at OARO. Blockchain Consultant. Founder, ShareYourWorld. Currently Professor and Co-Director of the Blockchain Specialization Diploma at the School of Legal Practice of the UCM. He is also part of the EAE Business School as a Minor Blockchain Specialist Professor. Also, since 2019 he is a member of Ethereum Madrid. In addition, he has been IT Manager at Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring. On the other hand, he was a Member of the Board of Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem, general secretary in the Association of Blockchain Companies and Institutional Member of AETOK-Spanish Association of Tokens and ICOs.

Gloria Hernandez Aler

Partner Finreg 360. Previously Partner of Financial Regulatory at Deloitte Legal. She has been part of the Legal Department of the Madrid Stock Exchange and worked as a lawyer in the Banking, Insurance and Financial Entities area of Cuatrecasas Lawyers. Likewise, she has been a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank. She is a specialist in capital markets. Among her areas of specialization are stock market, banking, collective investment institutions, cryptocurrencies and venture capital. She graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. LL.M. in Financial & Securities Regulation from Georgetown University, Washington DC Fullbright Scholarship. Luis Pastor Perez

Managing Partner of Consulting and leader of the Crypto and Blockchain practice at Grant Thornton, which he established in 2015. He is also Vice President of Alastria, the largest blockchain consortium in Spain. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in projects related to innovation, both in the field of consulting and entrepreneurship. During his years at Grant Thornton, he has been working on more than 30 projects in the crypto and blockchain field at a national and international level, related to digital identity, traceability, CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currencies), tokenization, NFTs and various sectors in numerous casos of use. Grant Thornton has had its crypto and blockchain center of excellence in Spain since 2015 with more than 30 professionals specialized in strategy, regulation and technology. He is an ICAI Computer Engineer, with a degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. Angel Luis Quesada Nieto

He has more than twelve years of experience working with startups as CEO of Kubide Tech Builder, a startup development company that has launched more than 50 projects. He launched a successful ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in 2018 that reached $18M and is a specialist in crypto-assets, blockchain and Smart contract development. Since 2019 he has been leading the Onyze project, the first Spanish digital asset custody company to offer its new generation custody service, capable of allowing other companies to access the crypto and DeFi sector in a simple, secure and regulated manner. He is also a partner at Climbpost, a startup incubator that offers work models in exchange for equity and intensive 8-month programs to take projects from idea to validation. He studied Mathematical Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA at the IEBS Digital Master Marketing Business School, he is a professor in different entrepreneurship and blockchain programs at the MIT, EAE, UCM, IEB universities, among others.

Fanny Solano Agramonte

Director of the Legal Department of Digital, Retail and Market Regulation; Transparency and Regulatory Implementation of CaixaBank. She is in charge of CaixaBank's strategy and positioning in digital, retail and market regulatory issues and is responsible for legal and regulatory aspects related to the marketing of investment, banking and insurance products. Likewise, she coordinates the regulatory implementation in all areas at the Group level. She has been part of CaixaBank's Legal Department since 2012. Before joining CaixaBank, she worked as an Associate Lawyer at PwC and previously at the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks (CECA). Fanny Solano has a Law Degree Magna Cum Laude.
