Virtual Fide International Legal

The space Fide Jurídico Internacional intends to be a platform to discuss, with an eminently practical approach, the main issues that the transnational reality of the legal profession poses to business law professionals and, especially, to those responsible for internal legal advice.

What does the International Legal Space of Fide?

In a definitively globalized world, the legal profession has ceased to be limited exclusively to the knowledge and practice of the law corresponding to a certain jurisdiction. Gone are the days when lawyers could afford to ignore what was happening beyond the borders of the country in which they practiced their profession. Quite the contrary, the legal professionals who today advise and represent companies and entities in the public sector, both from professional firms and -very especially- from internal legal consultancies, must be very aware of the legal trends and developments that occur in other parts of the world, either because of the commercial interests that their clients may have in them, or because there are more and more national regulations from other countries that have extraterritorial effects, or simply because many of these trends will end, one way or another. another, affecting the legal-economic scenario in which its clients operate. In short, the economy today has an essentially cross-border character and, consequently, so does business law.
