At Fide we are strongly committed to Mediation as the future of conflict resolution between parties.
That is why we have developed a whole new area dedicated to exploring and promoting this practice in Spain and other countries. Starting with the training of professionals in mediation.
This 6-day course focuses on what CEDR does best: highly trained instructors who are also seasoned mediators, helping course participants learn and apply the process and skills of mediation. The 6 days of the CEDR course involves practical exercises and role-playing in practical case simulations, where all participants will have the opportunity to be the mediator and receive training or 'coaching' and structured feedback from experienced mediators.
By offering participants a broad perspective on conflict management, the program specifically focuses on the mediation process and required skills. It includes:
A 50-hour course organized by Fide and the Fundació Mediació Notarial del Col·legi de Notaris de Catalunya (Notarial College of Catalonia) taught by renowned professionals from the world of mediation.
The course seeks to improve general mediation skills through the exchange of experiences among the professionals they serve. To achieve this, he uses a format that skillfully combines theory with role-play in order to develop and apply the new knowledge obtained "live".
After the success achieved in the two editions of the program held last year 2020, Fide organizes in collaboration with the Notarial College of Catalonia they organize a new edition between April and May of this year, also online.
Dates and place of realization: The program will be held during the months of September and October 2021 in online format.
Not only must we know the mediation process well, but we must also be able to transmit well its operation, its advantages, its costs, its strategy, its consequences, etc. to our clients, to the colleagues of the firm, and to the professionals who intervene in the defense and representation of the opposing party.
A series of sessions that seek to address the difficulties posed by transferring to our colleagues first, the client later, and the lawyers of the opposing party, the conviction of that mediation may be the most appropriate procedure for a satisfactory resolution of the conflict. Therefore, it is necessary not only to have an adequate theoretical framework to know what are the keys for these conversations to develop successfully, but also to develop, through role plays, the conversations that take place in a real process.
The workshop was held on January 20 and 26. The workshop lasted four hours, divided into two afternoons from 18:20 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
