Why?

Fide and the Garrigues Foundation have created the Group of Work on the “End of Life”. This group is framed within the area activities Science and Law, led by Pedro Garcia Barreno, Doctor in medicine. Honorary Professor at the Complutense University, Member of the Academic Council of Fide, Anthony Garrigues, President of the Garrigues Foundation and Cristina Jimenez Savurido, President of Fide.

The objective of this group is to reflect on this matter and in its caso reach some consensual conclusions that can provide, to the professionals who participate and to society in general, rigorous and plural information on this matter. For this, we bring together a group of professionals from the scientific field and the field of law, who contribute from their knowledge the specific problems of their field.
