New Cycle of Sessions of Fide: Legal and economic challenges of Next Generation funds

"In the cycle of sessions we will not only identify operational risks, in a legal and economic sense, but we will also take the opportunity to show real and viable solutions that make the execution of the Next Generation Funds a success story"

The success of the Next Generation funds is conditional on the ability of all operators, public and private, to join forces in channeling economic resources to the best projects for Spain. For this, it is relevant to do it in the shortest possible time, with the least administrative burden, without forgetting the necessary zeal and care in public money.

Our legal and operational framework is not sufficiently dimensioned to reconcile temporary emergencies with the necessary diligence in the management of public resources. Virtue arises from necessity, both the Public Administrations and the private sector are offering formulas that allow a better coexistence between sectors, called to understand each other.

In the cycle of sessions directed academically by David Mellado, Partner of PWC, State Attorney and Academic Advisor of Fide, we will not only identify the operational risks, in a legal and economic sense, but we will also take the opportunity to show real and viable solutions that make the execution of the Next Generation Funds a success story.
