El Labor News Forum of Fide has organized this cycle of three sessions aimed at analyzing the Labour reform. We will address the internal flexibility and the new regulation of ERTEs and permanent mechanism RED; changes in terms of Collective negotiation and finally the new frame of labor contracting, both temporary and indefinite, as well as the novelties in the regulation of the Outsourcing.
1st session: Wednesday, January 26- Internal flexibility and new regulation of ERTEs and permanent mechanism RED (online)
Decree-Law 32/2021 reforms the ERTES, of contractual suspensions and reductions in working hours, both for economic, organizational, technical and productive reasons, as well as for force majeure, adding flexibility in its use and greater legal certainty, from the experience learned in the specific regulations of ERTES COVID-19. Along the same lines of betting on internal labor flexibility, the 2021 labor reform creates a new RED mechanism, with contractual suspensions and reductions in working hours, in its double cyclical and sectoral modality, prior activation by the Council of Ministers. This session of the cycle will have as its object both the reform of the ERTES and the new RED mechanism.

2nd session: Wednesday, February 2 – Changes in collective bargaining (online)
The 2021 labor reform places among its objectives the modernization of the architecture of collective bargaining. On this basis, two far-reaching modifications are made to Title III of the Workers' Statute. On the one hand, the application preference of company agreements in terms of salary amounts is eliminated. Similarly, the regime of indefinite ultraactivity of collective agreements is recovered. Both modifications are accompanied by transitory rules that raise numerous doubts as to their application. This second session of the cycle will be devoted to the analysis and study of the practical effects caused by the aforementioned regulatory changes.

3rd session: Tuesday, February 8 – New legal framework in terms of contracting and subcontracting (online)
The publication in the BOE on December 30 of a new and very relevant labor reform has had for all of us who work in the field of labor relations and human resources an urgent need to know the essential lines of action in the new framework normative. Special incidence has had the reform in terms of contracting, temporary and indefinite, and in the modification of some basic aspects of the regulation of contracts and subcontractors. This session of FIDE Its essential objective is to offer a detailed explanation of the main lines of the new regulation in these matters.
