Responsible for the treatment: FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH ON LAW AND BUSINESS (Hereinafter “FIDE")

Purposes of the processing: Database management of people interested in the activities of FIDE, of the people registered as users on our platform “Area-Fide”, of the members of the Academic Council, of members of the Board of Trustees, of those attending events organized by FIDE; as well as speakers and attendees at training activities, all of them for the development of the Foundation's activities and for the management of the staff of FIDE. Legitimation: Based on Article 6 RGPD, the legitimacy for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of FIDE in the development of the activities for which the Foundation was established, as well as the execution of the contract by which the attendees subscribe to the activities of the Foundation, the execution of the Foundation's statutes based on which the members of the Council Academic and the Board of Trustees perform their functions, for the fulfillment of the contract for the provision of services by the speakers, for the fulfillment of the employment contract of the staff of FIDE and for compliance with the obligations established for Foundations in the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.

Recipients: No data is transferred to third parties. Likewise, there will be no international transfer of personal data.

Rights or possibility to exercise the rights of Art. 15 to 22 of the RGPD / Art. 13 to 18 of the LOPD and GDD: You, as an interested person regarding the processing of your personal data by FIDE, you can access, rectify or delete the data, request their portability, oppose the treatment (Right to be forgotten) and request its limitation. For what purpose do we treat your personal data?

How long will we keep your data?

The personal data provided will be kept as long as the relationship of the Academic Council, the members of the Board of Trustees and the speakers with the Foundation is maintained, their deletion is not requested by the interested party and for a period of 5 years.

 

What is the legitimacy for the treatment of your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the following:

  • the execution of a commercial contract both for the provision of services (Speakers), and for the hiring of the same (Attendees); and labor contracts (Personnel of FIDE) in which the interested parties are a party. Interested parties are obliged to provide personal data for the execution of the same, otherwise the object of said contracts could not be carried out; based on Art.6.1.b. GDPR and Arts. 1252 to 1314 of the Spanish Civil Code;
  • for compliance with the legal obligation regulated in the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism for Foundations; based on Art.6.1.c. GDPR; as well as based on "Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing" Art.3 and Art.4;
  • for the legitimate interest of FIDE, being the legitimate interest the development of its activities as a Cultural Foundation (Users registered in our platform “Área-Fide” and Assistants); based on Art.6.1.f. RGPD, Considering 47 of the RGPD, Art.19.1 of the LOPDGDD; and the content of "Opinion 06/2014 on the concept of legitimate interest of the data controller under article 7 of Directive 95/46/EC" of the working group on data protection of Art.29 (WP217 ).
