He is the Global Chief Investment Officer at BBVA Asset Management since July 2012.  He heads a team of 150 investment professionals located in seven countries and managing over € 120 bn in assets.  Prior to that, he headed Quality Funds, the third-party products platform of the BBVA Group, for two years.  He joined BBVA Asset Management in 2001 as Head of Equities and in 2008 moved on to a project management position where he was instrumental in the setting up of the Global CIO office.  Before joining BBVA, Eduardo worked as a portfolio manager for FG Gestión, Merrill Lynch Asset Management and Gesbankinter.  He holds a BA in Law and a Master in Finance from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE in Madrid and is a CFA charter holder since 2003.
