Lawyer, President of the International Federation of Pension Fund Administrators (FIAP). Former Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Former President of the Chilean Association of Pension Fund Administrators, Former Director of Banco Santander Chile, and Former Vice President of AFP Capital of Grupo SURA. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Labour Organization (ILO), of the Executive Council of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and of the Labor Commission of the Confederation of Production and Commerce of Chile. He is the Author of the book “Legal Regime of the New Pension System” Editorial Jurídica de Chile, 1999. He holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, specializing in labor and social security areas.
