Research Manager at FIAP since 2007, the International Federation of Pension Fund Administrators. Initially as a Research Analyst (until 2010), and later as a Research Manager (from 2011 to date). In his duties, he has carried out descriptive studies and articles related to the operation and development of private pension systems in different countries that have a mandatory component of individual capitalization of savings (with a focus on Latin America), both in the accumulation and decumulation phase. Between 2021 and June 2022, he was also Vice President of the World Pension Alliance (WPA), a collective organization made up of the main defense associations representing pension plans and providers in the world, including Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America and Australia. He started working in 2005 at the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance of Chile in the International Relations and Studies Division. Later, in 2006, he worked at Santiago Consultores Asociados, participating in consultancies on various topics, and did assistantships in Industrial Organization at the Catholic University of Chile. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Exact Sciences from the University of Chile. In addition, he is a Commercial Engineer with a Mention in Economics from the same university.
