Emeritus Professor of Law, University of Oxford. At Oxford I have taught EU Law, Constitutional law, and International Law. I have written extensively on EU law. Before retiring from legal practice in 2018, he appeared in numerous cases before the EU Courts in Luxembourg, and represented and / or advised businesses and governments. He has recently written for UK think-tanks on judicial reform in the UK, and on procedures for ratifying EU trade agreements.
