The Oxford/25 Congress is a key event dedicated to exploring the intersection of sustainability, finance, and technology in shaping a resilient and data-driven future. Under the theme «Reaching Pragmatism in Sustainability», this year’s edition will focus on how financial actors can integrate impact, engagement, and megatrends into strategy—leveraging AI and real-world data to drive decision-making and unlock long-term value.
Held at Jesus College, Oxford, from September 17th to 19th, the congress will open with a focus on One Health and Biodiversity, establishing the scientific-economic nexus at the heart of environmental risk. Panels will then explore transition strategies for industrial economies, corporate and sectoral decarbonization, and the energy transition challenge. Attendees will examine how disclosure frameworks such as TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) are evolving to align with the needs of financial institutions.
Day two delves into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in sustainable finance, with keynote addresses and case studies showcasing real-life implementation and regulatory challenges. From the EU’s Sustainable Finance Competitiveness Compass to LATAM’s response to US and EU policy frameworks, and from turning sustainability pushback into engagement success to evaluating whether impact investing is going mainstream, the agenda spans continents and perspectives.
Discussions will culminate in identifying five key questions shaping the future of sustainable investment, offering a collective reflection on where the industry is headed. Complemented by interactive formats and networking moments, the congress promotes cross-sector collaboration to move beyond rhetoric and into pragmatic, scalable action.
The Oxford/25 Congress is not about idealism—it’s about bridging vision and execution. Through cross-sector dialogue, we aim to accelerate scalable, science-informed, and economically viable solutions that align profitability with purpose.
Join us at Oxford/25 as we navigate the complexities of today’s sustainability agenda—empowered by data, committed to impact, and ready to engage with the future.
