Partner and head of the Department of Procedural Law and Arbitration at Ashurst Spain. Before joining Ashurst, he was a partner in the litigation department at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo and at Baker & McKenzie. Throughout his career, he has also served as director of Sogecable's legal department and as general secretary and secretary of the board of Vallehermoso.

He is a member of the State Bar Corps and specializes in litigation, arbitration and insolvency disputes and restructuring. He has experience advising leading financial institutions in pre-litigation matters and before the courts. He also has experience in advising groups on legal claims and arbitrations (competition and technology law, contractual and product liability, damage assessment). He also advises on matters related to international jurisdictions, including submission to jurisdictional clauses or arbitration provisions in contracts.

He has practiced in the State Legal Service in the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid in representation and defense of the State Administration and Public Entities in all jurisdictional orders. He also worked as a state attorney in the General Directorate of Insurance of the Ministry of Economy with active participation in the drafting of the preliminary drafts of important norms in the regulation of the sector.

Degree in Law and Business Studies from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-E3) in Madrid. Member of the Academic Council of FIDE.
